That's what my sister called them.

Anyone remember when they were a real luxury? My parents bought one whole packet for the entire Christmas period for (probably) the equivalent of five thousand pounds in today's money the way they guarded and counted them and their poxy individual envelopes!

I got two for a pound or something weeks ago and I am still unable to neck them as DH is doing right now

I have to nibble them and make them last for at least half an hour. Which is why they should be kept in the fridge.

Yeah, the little bags could be counted though.

And my mother called them "satch-ettes"

I must get to Tesco this year!

I got my dd a box. She is a strange little girl, we were shopping in france and she asked for 2 euros. I gave it to her and she came back with a plastic tray . She told me she had her heart's desire now and that I'd always refused to buy her one in the past. Not in my memory love. So, she's got this plastic tray and now wants something to go on it. Her eyes light on the after eights and she chooses those. I didn't get her them (they cost 5 euros) but on a later visit to France did. They are now wrapped up under the christmas tree and she is puzzled.
Did anyone else use the satch - ettes as LP covers for their barbie dolls?
