My cm's son - he's a lovely, lovely boy - likes his sports, but otherwise just plays lovely little boy things with ds (who's 5) so I don't have much of a sense of what would be cool for him ... Any ideas??

I had this problem with my friend's son. Luckily he is into his football so I went to the Calender Club and got him a calendar of his favourite team. Hopefully he will approve!

Humm, don't think he's a big team supporter - more of a player. And no idea on teams (nothing on display in the house...)
Any more ideas, anyone - or just a vague sense of the sort of things that are cool if you're a 10 yo boy? Dr Who?

Same predicament for my friend's ds. Really into football and electronic games...
Anyway my friend said he'd love the JLS CD or something crafty! As long as I didn't tell his mates So I've got him balloon modelling kit and the CD!

They always (if my ds is anything to go by) like things like football gloves, boot bags, just general football gubbins! And footballs. I don't understand this, but my ds has about 10 - and would be happy to get another one. so long as it is a proper sports shop football, not a toys shop one.

Penknife? We gave dd1 a Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme one when she was 10. (she is very tomboyish) All her friends want one.

Top Gear Stig calendar?

Ohhh, Stig book/calender is a FAB idea (not least as dh works where TG is filmed!) - and ds has played something akin to Top Trumps, so bet that would go down well... lots of ideas now - thank you all!!
