They say it is meant to be here by 24th (they warn you if it won't be as was the case with one of my items), and estimated mid week next week for arrival. Will see!

I hope so too. I've just ordered from Amazon a few moments ago. I chose standard delivery; hope that was the right thing to do.

They're slower than normal but not outrageously slow.

Mine are being delivered fast but to the wrong address - twice this month they've been delivered to my house number in my postcode district, just not my street (different street each time). Luckily there are some honest people around who actually take the trouble to bring round wrongly-delivered parcels. This is using the free delivery option, which seems to be entrusted to Home Delivery Network. I certainly won't be doing the rest of my christmas shopping on Amazon.

Ordered last few bits on Friday, despatched yesterday.

The 3rd party thing had stated delivery 14-19th on statement but was also despatched yesterday.

Can't fault 'em.

My last M and S was placed Thursday, also despatched yesterday.

I spent around £300 there on Thursday and about half of the stuff has arrived so far. Am biting my nails as much has to be wrapped and posted off again to relatives. I wish I had paid the extra for the gift wrapped option so I didn't have this stress.

I signed up to the free months trial of prime, getting stuff the next day or on tuesday if I ordered over the weekend.

I am finding its taking a little longer for stuff to be despatched (free super saver delivery) than usual.

I orderd some DVDs Friday last week, they were despatched SUnday and arrived this morning.

Bigger stuff orderd the same time (direct from Amazon) is still not here.

I have had an email that says they will take Xmas orders until Friday but think if I order now I will opt for next day to be safe - more because of our uber slow post than Amazon.

MY DS1's class are doing a secret Santa budget £10. He spent the whole day in town with his girlfriend on Saturday then came home and mentioned that his form teacher had instigated the Secret Santa idea to me. Obviously as he is a 14year old boy it did not occur to him to buy something during his travels round town. We ordered Bunny Suicides off Amazon on Saturday night, risking free delivery option, it was despatched Monday by Royal Mail but the postman has just been without it today .

As he needs the present tomorrow we are now in the position of having to buy something else at some point today and imminently to be stuck with a copy of Bunny Suicides. Bah!

He told me on Monday night that he needed french food to take into French on Tuesday - he ended up with M&S sweets onto the packing of which I cunningly wrote "Bonbons" in permanent marker

this is good news - play.com have let me down with dhs Christmas present - moved the pre-order date twice and now giving no date all this without emailing an update - have had to go on to their website to check why its not arrived.
