I want to make 'night in' packs of little presents, as our christmas presents for my brother and sister (and their other halves). I'd love some ideas of stuff to put in them, so far we've got some fun little chocolatey stuff and a game, but would like to add a few (cheap if possible) little bits.

They're in their late 20's, my brother's just moved in with his girlfriend, and my sister's just bought a house with their husband. so we thought a pack of stuff for a fun night in to enjoy their new house would be good, but now got half way through it and stuck for ideas!

Have just made one for my friend including:

Latest Eddie Izzard DVD
2 single serving bottles of Cava - one white, one rose
Big bag of toffee popcorn
Big bag of nice crisps
Big bag of maltesers
A teddy (because she collects them)

If you know what comedy they're into, a DVD that's not a film is more fun for this sort of pressie.

In the past I have also put in the cans of ready mixed G&T from M&S, candles, bath stuff - but my 'night in' bags are always for girlfriends rather than couples. Bath stuff might still be appreciated!

Couple of DVDs (check out Amazon for the classics, DH ordered a huge pile of DVDs for only £30)

yes, bath stuff would be nice, lush do lovely heart shaped massage bars.

fairy lights can be bought very cheaply and look lovely in a room on a night in - got a similar box myself last year with these in it.

ooh yes candles or fairy lights or something sounds good, and defnitely wine, so many good ideas....

what kind of thing have you packed them all into sleepinglion ? I'm thinking it would be good to present it nicely so its not just a random colleciton of stuff

ilove the slipper socks idea is fab, except everyone in the family knows I am obsessed with staying warm, i'm always covered in a rug and thick socks, so I think they would just laugh at me , but if someone was making a night in pack for me it would be perfect!!

I love doing things liek this!

Last year I made my Brother a 'morning after the night before' pack and my SIL a 'girly night in pack'.

I'd like: DVD, popcorn, alcohol, dark chocolate, strawberries (so I'm fussy! - but everyone who knows me knows I ADORE fruit!) and fairy lights (I already have tons of candles).

I'm doing a few of these this year too. (Got the idea her on mumsnet, thanks to whoever first suggested it).
I put in slipper socks and a soft, fleecy throw as well as sweets, crisps, dvd voucher and some body lotions or hand creams. The throws were only ?5 in pennys/primark.

Im doing a "pamper hamper" for my cousin and my step mum, with bubble bath, body lotion, 2 x footcare products, a facemask and hand cream (as im an avon rep, its easily done!)

But my friend has been having a hard time recently and is a bit down so im doing her a surprise basket with a bottle of her fav Blossom Hill red wine, some chocolates, her fav crisps, candles and some other goodies, and as she only lives around the corner from me and i know she attends our local church (and I dont) and will be there xmas eve, im going to pop round and leave it on her doorstep and put a note on just wishing her a merry christmas but try to disguise my handwriting! I cant wait!
