Anyone else's DC have a birthday on Christmas Day?

DD will be 2 at Christmas. Last year she was tiny enough that it didn't really matter what we did. This year, I'd like to some how carve out a birthday experience for her distinct from Christmas - any experience of this and thoughts on how I do it?

My cousin's birthday is Christmas Day. When she was 12 she decided she would have a 'half birthday' on 25th June! She's done that every year since and is now 32!
