Calling all gamers...PSP Go or PSP 3000.....

Is for DH, first ever handheld gaming console we have had. Have decided to go for PSP over the DS...but am now torn between the 2 PSP models....any advice as to whether the PSP Go is really worth the extra money. (Am unsure that only being able to download games is the way forward)....
