not american, she is doing a christmas party for the kids on the 7th dec and she thinks she needs 3 week to get it all ready.

but she will be wrapping the kids pressies and putting them under the tree over the next fews days too!

Blimey- ours comes out when dh kicks me up the arse when everyone else in the cul-de-sac has had their real one for a week in a centrally heated house and they are starting to drop then our pathetic fake one looks FAB!

i agree, far too early, and i am the biggest chrismtas lover i know! m tree goes up first weekend in december. i will admit i have been listening to some christmas music the last week, but only when i have been wrapping stuff, or doing xmas present shopping online. and i havent inflicted it on anyone else, i have the music stored in laptop, and been listening via earphones

i did ask her why she was doing it now,

she said she would get stressed out if she left it too late. haha. she also takes it all down on boxing day and hates it that i keep mine up till the day the kids go back to school.

i tend to wait until the neighbours have theres up and that tends to be in the first couple of weeks of dec.
