In previous years we have done:
Brown foot print and red pompom to make rudolphs head.
Green handprints to make christmas tree
Salt dough star in a black card cut out cirle.

Now I'm stuck for ideas!

Anyone??

I buy a big box of blank cards from Cox & Cox and get my kids to make all birthday/thank you/Christmas cards.

Doesn't have to be fancy.
A felt tip picture suffices. If it's a nice one, colour photocopy and stick on blank card.

What a brilliant idea about blank cards. Bookmarked.

Handprint Santa or is that a bit too similar to your Rudolf and Christmas Tree?

blank card stock and christmas theme stickers or stampers. If you can get coloured or metalic cards stock your half way there, then see if you can restrict child to a modest number of stickers per card.

We have (so far this year) done
-a bunch of christmas stampers on pale purple post card size with I have then stuck onto silver cards, giving a silver border.

  • a bunch of gold cards with silver foil stickers.

Both of which look quite nice and keep boy busy making on wet afternoons. I'm not planing on sending so many shop bought cards this year, will use Boy's made ones for family and child owning friends.

We have done a printed snowman using egg cup for body and bottle top for head dipped in white paint, on hand-torn red or blue card, then mounted on white card blank. Kids draw in snowman's hat, face, buttons, twiggy hands etc with felt tips once dry.

Or cut up silver card to make a collage angel on similar mount; or cut up silver and green card into triangles to make a forest of Christmas pines.
