What do you get a child who has every toy going? He has a birthday and christmas two weeks apart. So its hard anyway.
DN is 3(4 in Dec) he has everything,I find him so hard to buy for.He is our godchild too so like to get him something nice, last yr I got Duplo, the year before wooden train.
I have a budget of 20 quid.Any ideas please :)

Maybe not a toy this time, how about a onesie, a backpack or a hoodie? Or character pyjamas, slippers, a duvet cover set for his favorite football team or cartoon character?

I hadn't even thought of that, he supports football- Liverpool, well BIL says he does!
I could get something like that.He loves tractors he knows all the names off by heart but as above , he is PFB on other GP side so has lots of toys.

I second the duvet, used to get my niece and nephew one every Christmas with their latest fad and they loved it. As they get older they can let you know what they like, usually things they know only an aunty will buy Grin

What about a football pyjamas? You can usually get them for the big teams.

Character pyjamas/onesies go down well with my ds.

Dressing up outfits are also popular, either fireman/policeman or ninja turtles/batman.

Two brilliant books for that age are Just Imagine and You Choose (look on book people for good prices) they have gone down a storm with all the friends and family kids I've bought them for!

How about a skip hop zoo back pack? My boys both love them.

I bought my dn (who is an only child) tickets to see the nutcracker, which she loved.

How about tickets to see a panto/play or theatre tokens which can be used later.

My ds of the same age loves getting things with his name on, have a look at notonthehighstreet or even Tesco/Asda, he got a backpack last year off my friend with his photo and name on, it goes everywhere with us full of his favourite toys. He has also received name puzzles, swim bag and dressing gown. It means even more to us as its hard to find things with his name on.

I have a insane number of nieces and nephews. I usually find something personalised is a huge hit, I've got in the past few years personalised football shirts, swords or last year a vampire hunting kit Grin (hey I'm auntie not mum! And my brother number 3 got my youngest a drum kit.....)

Do you like his parents?! Because there are a range of Tractor Ted DVDs and related stuff that DS loved at that age.
Even now, 6 years on I occasionally find myself humming the muck spreading song :o
