What would you like for Christmas this year?

I love to hear what other people are coveting, but also looking for inspiration for my family/friends.

Clr - learn to crochet kit would be a perfect present for my SIL, you've inspired me thank you! I would love to learn too but I'm not always the best at sitting down and committing myself to something.

Mintyy - good for you.

I'd like a small handbag that I can carry around over my shoulder. I love anything from Accessorize generally!

I have a list of books on my Amazon Wishlist.

Some glasses for the kitchen, I don't even have two glasses that match anymore, or wine glasses!

I think I would like to test out a kindle, quite like the idea of them.

Smiles. A happy home.
Some appreciation (yes, mutual).
No complaints, moping teenagers, 'I hate Christmas', 'I don't want to be here' or battles about food. That would be an absolutely great Christmas.

Chips I love my kindle and bought my dad one a couple of years ago which went down well. They are so handy!

YeGods I have no moping teenagers of my own but 3 teenage in-laws so I have seen what you describe many times!! I hope you and your family have a lovely Christmas and silliness is at a minimum! Smile

Pure do you know which perfume you want?

The only thing I've thought of this year so far is:

www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00165V0NE/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=9377BVY74LKS&coliid=IUJWZMF2JHJTB&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21

I have some good ones for at home but these are folding and as I fly regularly will hopefully be useful.

I'll have to come up with some more over the next few months. I'm quite demanding at Christmas.

Ooh MamaPain I might have a look at those for DH he is also a frequent flyer and last time he went away I sent him off with my pink in-ear ones because he finds his other ones too bulky!

I have Naked 3 and was disappointed with it. I gave it to my niece and bought a Bobbi Brown nude palette instead, was a bit more expensive but far better colour choice.

I think they are still a bit bulky but better than the non folding ones. I have terrible in-ear problems when flying, mainly due to my frequent flying Hmm so have to wear earplugs, I can't wear earphone as well, which is why these work for me plus they are noise cancelling and good sound quality. I've only tried out my sisters once (which prompted me to want them) but I would definitely recommend for your DH.

Grin MrsGrumble

(though I got one of those in Dec 1999 - currantly in the next room with his lanky unwashed teenage carcass draped on the sofa, eating croissants and using my electricity with his X-Box and unsuitable TV . Top Gear. He watches Top Gear Confused )

Christmas Babies are scrummy .

Thought about my list, there's nothing I can think of right now that I want to wait for.
I need a new food processor but I need it now sooner than December.
I need my gallbladder removed (hopefully November) but unless Father Christmas can arrange my surgery.... Grin
