Tall or short?
Thin or thick?
Real or fake?

Christmas tree of course! What is your ideal?

All of the above!
Real, 6ft and not too wide but bushy looking would be first choice.
Have seen some really good fake ones though so I'm tempted but will prob go for real. I am def buying one of those pre-lit white twig ones this year too!

I have a tall, bushy fake one in my kitchen, a tall fake skinny one in the playroom and a real one in my living room...

I like fake ones because they are usually a better shape and last longer but I love the whole event of going to pick out a real tree and the smell Smile

We have had a real one for the past few years. I love them in theory. The tree does look beautiful but the dropping pine needles irritate me. Although the ones that we have had haven't been too bad for needles. DH is rubbish at disposing of the tree post Christmas and I always feel sad for killing a tree! My mum and dad have an amazing fake one that they got from America. It looks like something you would see in Harrods window!

Fake for the living room. 7 foot and wide. 2 small real trees for the garden with lights.

I like real ones, we usually get one big one for the living room and two smaller ones for the kitchen and near the front door.

I have only seen one fake one I really liked and it was £1000 Shock it was beautiful though.

The children have garish looking coloured fake ones in their bedrooms.

Over seven foot, very bushy, and real. Has to be the non drop sort, as we buy it at the beginning of December.

Homebase serves surprisingly well on those counts, and they are not too expensive.

Seven foot Norway spruce is always our choice. I like it big and bushy at the bottom and then it slowly gets thinner and thinner until it reaches the top iykwim.

Tried an 8 foot tree last year but it was way too big for our room, think National Lampoons Grin. Definitely sticking to 7 foot. Always real, wouldn't be the same for me with a fake one.

I like a real tree, but size isn't so important to me (as long as it isn't a tiny tabletop one). Our house isn't big enough to warrant multiple trees really, though I'm toying with getting a little fake tree to go in the dds room this year.

One that doesn't lean over like the last drunk at the bar will do me nicely Grin
New tree this year, looking at a 6ft fake one with led lights. I found one on Amazon for £30.
