Individual ones, in the bakery. Bought some yesterday - was excellent, eating mince pies in this heat Grin

Thought I'd mention it in case anyone's feeling especially festive. Well, it IS less than five months to Christmas now...

Ooooohhh Grin

I do like the Sainsburys Taste the Difference Mini Mince Pies (they have the correct pastry:mincemeat ratio IMO ) and I buy them in October a couple of weeks before Christmas

Haven't tried the Waitrose ones

Are the pies shortcrust or flakey?

70 they're shortcrust. Dusted with a snowy flurry of icing sugar. And they are heavenly warm with a dollop of yellow double cream. They're not massively deep but the mincemeat is divine and anyway, in July I'll take whatever mince pies I can get Grin
