I'm after a 50mm Babyliss Big Hair and some new bedding, what are you hoping to get?

Boots. Black. Over the knee. Sexy.
But low key enough to wear to work and school run.
Can't wait for sales to start.

Nothing in particular, as I tend to buy for myself during the year and use discount codes etc where possible.

Shoes - next size up for the children, so I have them when they are needed.

Birthday presents - have a few birthdays early in the year, so I try and get something from the sales.

Xmas presents for 2014 - mainly stocking fillers for the children and OH. I pick stuff up throughout the year.

I'm looking for birthday presents for the DC too, plus presents for kids birthday parties through the year, but tend to pick those up instore rather than online.

I've already bought Xmas Blush in the sales Cath kidston wellies from amazon and the new disney princess ultimate dream castle from boots both less than half rrp. Was tempted by a very cheap scrabble and wasjig puzzle in sainsbury's yesterday but managed to step away from them as don't really need them!Am on the lookout for a few different items of clothing/footwear for myself and the kids in the sales but really mustn't spend too much.

I need new shoes.
Can't be arsed to do the sales though. May wander into my nearest town on Boxing Day and see if there's anything happening (it's not a big place) - got some bargains last year in Fat Face.

Boots. For walking on muddy coastal paths. Can anyone suggest a good lightweight walking boot?

BigWellyLittleWelly · 24/12/2013 19:35

We need a new every day dinner service, the one we have is from IKEA and about seven years old. The glaze has gone and the plates are too big - given a diet is beginning in January I think some smaller plates would be a good idea!

New walking boots for me (I tend to buy lightweight goretex of any brand but usually berghaus) and a decent high quality raincoat.

DD1 will doubtless need new boots soon. On the whole though 2014 is going to financially be a tough year so a make do and mend approach needed.

I've just came back from Next with a nest of tables, two pendant lights, three tops, a pair of thick leggings and a pair of boots. Dd bought herself a lovely black lace playsuit and some knitwear. And we got it all home on the bus! Grin
