I need two, one for a 1 year old and another for a 4 year old girl. Any idea where to start looking?

I saw a black tutu dress for halloween in tkmaxx. It didn't have any halloween motifs so you could adapt it for a rock star look. I am not sure they would do a baby size so it might be easier to buy a white tutu dress/skirt & then dye it black.

Claires always sell tutus.

Loads of tutus in next!

These are gifts for my DH's god-daughters so I can't dye them.

I didn't see anything in Next, but thanks.

Please keep the suggestions coming. Will check TKMaxx.

We had some Halloween tutus in Wilkinson last year - dark purple - looked quite rock star ish.

tutu

I bought this for my daughter. It is absolutely gorgeous, really lovely soft tutu (some are quite scratchy and cheap feeling). Problem is it doesn't come small enough for your youngest.

Thanks, thinking along these lines:

I have two boys, so I'm a bit clueless when it comes to shopping for girls :)

Can I just say:

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo & Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Please, please do not buy them unless you are auditioning for 'My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding'

CB, each to their own, the girls mum (and I) think they're adorable for party dresses not gypsy auditions!

Well, I suppose you could double up if you ever felt like auditioning Grin

How on earth do you draw that conclusion? A bit uncalled for I think.

As in, they could use it for both instances, dressing up and auditioning if the mood ever took.

T'was a joke!

Hope this link works not done it before but there about 6 different colours of tutu in next at the moment. I thought it would be helpful as they do sizes suitable for the youngest child you are buying for. Also I. Good rock chick colours, black, navy, burgandy, pink etc

That just isn't a UK style of dress.
eBay possibly

Also look on zulily over the next few weeks as they often have that style of dress/tutu come up on there. It changes daily I terms of what's available.

I'm with CockBollocks. The dresses you linked are utterly tacky.
