So what do I need to not miss this holiday season? I think I enjoy this moment with my tv guide more than actually watching the stuff! Come join me,
So far I have:
Call the midwife
The Dambusters
Young Victoria
Gremlins
Babe

What are your 'must not miss' Xmas watches???

Haven't got my copy yet but am watching so I can mark them off!

Love all yours!

Room on the Broom and the new Snowman. Dr Who. DD will definitely want to watch Strictly as her all-time favourite Chelsea Healy (or however you spell her name) is on it.

Tangled, The Princess and the Frog and Shrek Forever After, since we don't have any of those on DVD. A Christmas Carol which is fab, and Muppets Christmas Carol.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl who Played with Fire and The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest (Swedish TV versions).
Might have to record Spartacus and Ben Hur for a rainy afternoon or two.
If you haven't seen Nativity, it's great, much better than Nativity 2.
Mr Stink.
Outnumbered.
Miranda.

Making notes, keep them coming! Also adding Twilight & Lord of the Rings - just to vet them before DD asks to read them of course Xmas Wink

Muppet Christmas Carol
Nativity

Haven't looked properly yet but a few I am really excited about:

Strictly final
Miranda
Room on the Broom (I actually shrieked when I first saw the ad!)
Ripper street
Doctor who
Mr stink
Snowman and the snowdog

We don't actually watch all that much telly usually - we are a DVD mad family and have loads for Xmas - but the Xmas Radio Times is a little tradition for me - I always buy it despite never buying it at any other time!

Can't see where our RT has got to at the mo but some of these sound great !
When I was a kid I enjoyed going through my Grandpa's copy and starring everything that looked good. Actually I think it was the listings in his Daily Telegraph which I liked because it had recommended and not to miss or something similar ?!

Anyway most looking forward to ....

Call the midwife
Downton Abbey (is that a clash already - have a feeling it could be ?)
Strictly Come Dancing
New snowman with snowdog
A Christmas carol (a classic - hope it's on on Christmas Eve ?)
Room on the broom - should be fun !
Oh, and have been loving Outnumbered with the DC's recently - so a Christmas one should be good Xmas Smile
Also Miranda (my friend after the MN webchat !)

Also enjoying some of the lovely Christmas cooking - like Nigel Slater's 12 things of Christmas - Mmmmm ! Will enjoy catching some Nigella at some point too Xmas Smile Maybe some Michel Roux junior if he's about again over the hols ? DS is always hoping it will inspire me to cook wonderful things but so far I fear I've not lived up to his expectations !
