Only 3 things on my list, unless they add more. The phillips hair clipper, The hunger games trilogy and Anthems 90s cd.

Hello, fellow bargain hunters!

Just had a quick look through, nothing really catching my eye, but might see if I can get one of the bath bomb sets later tonight as a gift for mil. Will of course be playing guess the discount for the rest of the day. Wonder what the chrome book will go for?

Hello & Morning (my first post on these threads);

Nothing really catching my eye today.
May have a look into the Berghaus ladies paclite jacket, really want to get one of those massive trains on tracks toy they've had the last 2 days, of course they'll probably never have them again!

Whispers, phillips clippers start at 8am.

Good morning, and a big thanks to those who linked to the Dr Seuss books for me last night. Will definitely be getting them.
Have had a quick look, not too much I'm interested in yet. It's DS's jags today so might need to buy something later on to cheer us up ;)

Morning!

Today I am after the nerf gun at 10:29 and the Christmas carol blu ray at 17:59. Might also see how much the trunki goes for.

The timex watch I ordered yesterday should come today. Glad it's today as its Dhs Christmas present and he is off tomorrow.

I've got DH the phillips clipper. He really needs it as he never has time to go to the barbers.

Hmm now I'm wondering if I need the crisp maker and mandoline. I have been wanting a mandoline but I usually use just a plate for making crisps in the microwave.

WineGless · 22/11/2012 08:08

What time is the mandolin on? I feeling need one in my life

8.29 am WineGless

I know I'm sad but I'm missing the stuff they did last year. I'm sure they had loads of clues and better deals.

Thanks prattling

I'm the same as you- less clues and more crap

The Hunger Games set is a bit of a con, amazon also have it available for £10 if you do a search, so they have bumped the price up to £20 in readiness for the deals. So Pratting I'd do a search for the lowest price before the deal, as I'm not sure it'll be great value...

PrattingAroundTheChristmasTree · 22/11/2012 08:38

Thanks Anna, but I had a proper look and realised that they're books, I thought they were dvds Blush I have the books on my ipad.

Good Morning. Just got the clippers as DP dropped his and they are making a weird noise. Not much else today apart from possibly the Star Wars Scalextric for DS2. He already has loads of stuff for xmas but if its cheap enough I'll get it for his birthday in early March.

When I read the thread through I thought you were talking about a musical mandolin Grin this from the woman who considered the wooden box cajon drum the other day

WhispersOfWickedness · 22/11/2012 08:42

Yes, quite a few of these things will have been bumped up before the sale so that the discount looks better. Always best to do a search after something has gone into your basket in case it is any cheaper elsewhere.
I didn't get the clippers, DH didn't text me back.

AnnaBegins Thanks for pointing that out. I'm gonna do a quick comparison search on the items I'm looking at (Alan Partridge DVD, Hunger games [which I know you've mentioned], and the Bin Weevils thing [which seems expensive in the first place!])

Ooh I posted on the other thread, so will repost here - I'm looking at the C&E hand cream for a Secret Santa pressie, and the steam mop. Nothing else. It's a bit crap this year!

The Hunger Games trilogy is £7.99 in the Works at the mo.

Play.com are doing the Monty Python boxset at £43 compared to £70 currently on amazon so it will be interesting to see what they reduce it down to.
