Hi, anyone know when fresh cranberries are available from supermarkets? Have some vodka ready to "infuse" if I can buy any before it's too late to make it!

Thanks

saw some in Asda yewsterday...what a good idea, how do you make it? Just slit the berries and add them? How long do you leave it for?

They're in waitrose/ocado, but just popped to sainsbury's for some bits and they're not in my local one yet.

I've made ecranberry & orange vodka this year and you can use frozen cranberries if you can't find fresh locally.

thanks, will try asda or waitrose as local sainsbury had none either.

here's the recipe

it's supposes to be for presents but one of my fave tipples is vodka, cranberry & lemonade so might not make it out of the kitchen Grin

BTW I remember seeing them in Asda I think it was and being surprised they were cheaper in Waitrose - may be worth checking on mysupermarket if you have both local.

The frozen ones just let them defrost - makes them a bit squidgier but then that may help I think. This is the recipe I used. I made some for friends but some for me too, for quality conrol purposes Grin started it all off two and half weeks ago, will bottle at the weekend and make another half a litre for someone else.
