Present ideas - 32 year old single woman?

This sounds awful, but I am really stuck for what to buy my best friend for Christmas!
She is a librarian, so I don't buy her books. In the past I have always given her smellies, nice candles, pretty accessories, booze, but I feel a change is in order.
So, budget of £15, maybe £20. SIngle woman age 32.
She always gives me such great presents, I want to give her a great present too!

I always liked getting something a bit special for the home - something that I perhaps didn't need, but really liked.

So......think about something she already has (perhaps bought when she first lived alone and bought the least expensive items to furnish her kitchen).

For me - I would have been very happy with a lovely teapot or a special sugar/creamer set. Or a beautiful serving bowl.

Maybe not hugely exciting, but something she'll use often that will remind her of you/your friendship.

My similar best mate likes dvds.
We are both very intellectual (honest), but like to revert to our teenage years with a box set of something crappy/ fun/ swoonsome men like Gossip Girl/Tru blood/ Pride and Prejudice/Gilmore Girls.
Also classics that bear repeat viewings like Now Voyager/Hitchcock stuff and so on.
Or funny stuff like Peep Show/ Misfits.

Or I buy us both a ticket to comedy gig/music gig.

Or a top beauty treat that she wouldn't treat herself to such as Touche Eclat/ Origins stuff/ That pink stuff that makes you look alive from Benefit.

Such fabulous ideas defineme, a night out is always a fun one (and really, it's a present to you BOTHWink)

Tummytickler whereabouts are you based? My girl friends and I love get-away weekends. I actually just got two of my girl friends tickets to the Wizard of Oz charity Gala in February (one of them was absolutely hooked on Over the Rainbow when it was on TV). What about treating her to a musical or play showing in the new year ? Such fabulous ones are coming out, particularly in London.

Hope this helps :)

Thanks so much for your ideas!
I had thought about a nice tea pot (we 'do' afternoon tea regularly!), so might look into that further. And also I will look into theatre tickets, or other stuff going on - as we do like a night out (we are not that fussy, out is out Grin so maybe something a bit more high brow is in order!).
I have to go out in a minute, but will look into these things later when dc's are in bed!
Great ideas - thanks.
