I am very fortunate to have a piano teacher as a neighbour. This gentleman teaches my DS piano and won't accept any payment for it as he and his partner ask me to look after his cats when they are away.
I know how lucky I am as a weekly piano lesson far outweighs any cat-sitting I am called upon to do during the year.
I give little gifts during the year but like to give something substantial at Christmas by way of saying "a huge thank you for teaching my son".
For the last three Christmas' I have bought: Xmas1 - case of wine; Xmas2 - hamper; Xmas 3 - tickets to a show and dinner.
Am happy to pay £250.00 for something that he can enjoy (with his partner in the case of all the pressies so far bought). But am having problems thinking of something different/original this year.
Any ideas????
