Cheap gift ideas

I know we've had a few threads on making but I keep losing them and forgetting which is which.
Just wanted to share my triumph at this week's cunning plan:

Dead Sea bath salts at local pound shop £1 enough for 2 biggish jars
Ikea glass jar with lid 20p
lavender from garden - nowt
ribbon for trimming - 40p for 3m

Mix the lavender with the salts (they're nice on their own too but are good with lavender as they're not scented). Put on lid and ribbon. If you're feeling flush you could run to a tag and or a teeny scoop.

Most suitable gift for many ladies of a certain age Grin.

Yep, I harvested the lavender in August or around then and dried it and a second flowering is on the bushes now. Cutting it tomorrow before we get any more frosts. If it's not strong enough then I'll use my dried. In Devon, maybe it's warmer here?

Don't see why not rosemary if you like that for a bath smell Aviendha. Or buy loose lavender online.
