Santas Grotto at PTA Xmas Fair - how much to charge?

We have an amazing Santa's Grotto planned for our PTA Christmas Fair - all set up by a professional events company (owned by one of the Dads), with nodding reindeers, sparkly lights, an indoor grotto, etc, etc.

We are not sure how much to charge to see Santa. We want everyone to be able to afford it, but also really need to raise some school funds.

My question is really, how much would you be happy to pay? The price will include a gift from Santa (an age-appropriate book), and there is the option to have a photo taken, and printed to be taken home.

Any thoughts really welcome. Thank you

I agree with Cherry. I think £5 each is too much, considering some parents will have more than one child to pay for, and people don't often take lots of money with them to school fayres.

Agree with Cherry. That is what we charge, and if there are siblings getting presents they can have a photo together (so the parents only pay for one photo).

If you make things too expensive then people won't pay for them and you make even less.

We charge £2.50 - I have 3 dc and wouldn't want to pay any more than that.
